BETTS, Francis H., Jr.

DeWITT, Iowa -- Services for Francis H. "Fran" Betts Jr., Glendale, Ariz., formerly of DeWitt, will be 3 p.m. today at Nelson-Heesch Funeral Home, Clinton. Visitation is one hour before the service. 

Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Betts died Dec. 5, 2001, at his home. He was born Aug. 30, 1940, in DeWitt. He married Linda Colburn in 1960. He served as a pilot in the Air Force. Memorials may be made to the family. 

Survivors include his wife, Linda; daughters, Jana, Julie and Wendy; sons, Mark, of Germany, and Kevin and Brian, both of Arizona; eight grandchildren; an adopted grandson; a great-grandson; and sisters, Betty Citek, LeClaire, Martha King, of Minnesota, and Susan Claussen, Clinton.
