BIVENS, Mildred A.

Mildred A. "Molly B" Bivens (Durbala), 78, of Phoenix, Ariz. passed away peacefully on August 12, 2001, after a brief illness. A native of Lovilia, Iowa, Molly retired from the V.A. Hospital in Knoxville in 1977 after suffering an injury on the job. Molly and her husband Wilbur G. "Peter Webb" Bivens moved to Arizona in 1986, to reside with their daughter. Prior to moving to Arizona they resided in Albia, Knoxville, and Waukee. Pete passed away in 1995 after 50+ years of marriage. They will both be returning to their beloved Des Moines for burial in their family plot on October 26, 2001. Mass will be said at St Johns Cathedral, Des Moines at 10:30 a.m. on the 26th. They are survived by their siblings, James Durbala, Raymond Durbala, George Durbala, John Durbala, Mary Lou Durbala, Lois Durbala, Jean Northwall, Jane Scheafer, and Ruby Bryan; children, LouAnn Cooper of Norwalk, Joan Harvey of Cleveland, Ohio, Mary Kay Spilman of Apache Junction, Ariz., Paul Peter Bivens of Atlanta, Ga. and Rita (Sudie) Bivens-Scherer of Phoenix, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
