The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ January 11, 2011 Dexter Kane entered into rest Jan. 2, 2011, in McNary. He was born Feb. 18, 1975, in Whiteriver. He will be dearly missed by all but never forgotten. Dexter is survived by his children: Eldridge Kane, D’Angelo Kane, Domonick Kane, Diego Kane, Kahlil Kane, Zoey Kane, Tatiana Kane; mother Lucinda Cohoe; stepfather Clyde Cohoe; brothers: Jimmy Cohoe, Chavo Cohoe; Sisters: Claudine Cohoe, Priscilla Cohoe, Shawna Cohoe, Esmerelda Cohoe; companion Morning Star Nicholas; and many relatives and friends. Dexter was preceded in death by his grandmother Jenny Kane; grandfather Amos Kane; brother Waylon Cohoe; and sister Shannon Cohoe. A two-night wake will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 10, at his residence (1201 S. Bronco Ave) in Whiteriver. Home services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, at the family residence in Whiteriver with Pastor Hazard Walker officiating. Interment will be at the Whiteriver Cemetery. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
