PATTERSON, Amelia

Amelia Patterson went home to be with the Lord Feb. 23, 2009, in Payson. She was born March 14, 1918, in Whiteriver.

Amelia is survived by her daughters, Magdalena Martinez, Pam Johnson, Pearl Patterson, Doris Patterson and Cheryl Patterson; sons Alfred Patterson and Mike Patterson; son-in-law Van Johnson; sisters Idella Gregg, Marina Gregg Allen and Eugenia Kirkwood; 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren; goddaughters Serita Nosie, Virgilene Truax and Zelda Alsenay; and many relatives and friends.

Amelia's body will be brought back to her residence at 5 N. Tessay Road in Cibecue for a two-night wake Thursday, March 5, at 10 a.m.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Gonzales officiating. Interment will be at the Family Plot Cemetery in Cibecue.

Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled the arrangements.
