The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ March 6, 2009 Arthur J. Baca died Feb. 11, 2009, in Los Alamitos, Calif., from complications of cancer. He was born Feb. 1, 1929, Gamerco, N.M. Arthur was a Korean War veteran and beloved family man. He had deep roots in Concho and the Gallup, N.M., area. He moved with his family in the mid '40s to California. A Mass was held Tuesday, Feb. 24, in Cypress, Calif. He will be interred at Riverside National Cemetery April 6. He is survived by wife Constance, brother Ray Baca, five children and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Lorenzo Baca, father Hilario Baca and mother Eutemia Sandoval Baca Arrangements were handled by New Options Funeral Service in California.
