Nancy Kay Moldovan, age 62, a 6-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., and formerly of Cortland, Ohio, died Saturday, January 8, 2011, in Newton Falls, Ohio.
She was born on April 24, 1948, in Warren, Ohio, a daughter of Joseph Layshock and Ruth Smith Layshock.
Nancy retired from Packard Electric and was a member of St. Robert Catholic Church in Cortland, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 32 years, Alex T. Moldovan; son, Richard J. Nochta of Cleveland, Ohio; daughter, Heather D. Moldovan of Cortland, Ohio; her mother; two sisters, Deborah Christ of Champion and Theresa Bartlett of Newton Falls, both in Ohio; three brothers; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at the Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel in Cortland.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2011, at St. Robert Catholic Church in Cortland.
Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Cortland.
