David Matthew Foster passed away to be with his heavenly father Dec. 26, 2010, with his loving wife, Annie, by his bedside.
David was born on Oct. 12, 1958, in Bend, Ore. He grew up with his three brothers and one sister in different parts of the state of Oregon. The family had many business and non-business adventures. Unbeknownst to Dave, his future wife, Annie, was also in Oregon, though they did not meet until they both relocated to sunny Lake Havasu City. They married and settled down to raise their kids as well as two very sweet dachshunds, Desi and Lucy. Dave was a longtime employee of UniSource where he worked as an engineer. He was also an active member of the Republican Party as well as Living Word Family Church.
David is survived by his loving family, wife, Annie Foster; parents, Leon and Sylvia Foster; brothers, Leon (Sharon), Mark (Holly), Jeff (Denise); and sister, Sue (Mike); children, Nicholas Foster, Holly Stephens, Sienna Grosse, Sean Grosse, Shannon Grosse and Sara Fancy; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends.
David will be greatly missed by all of his family, friends, and co-workers. He was truly an inspiring, courageous, man of God.
A service to celebrate his life will take place Jan. 16 at 2 p.m., Living Word Family Church, 1890 West Acoma Blvd., Lake Havasu City, AZ. All are welcome.
