The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, January 11, 2011 Raymond C. Kartje died Jan. 8, 2011, at his home in Dewey, Ariz. He was 85 years old. He was born March 26, 1925, in Cook County, Ill., the son of Christopher and Mary Kartje. Raymond retired after 30 years of employment with Bashas' Grocery as a baker. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Gerry; daughters Kathy, Laura and Mary; and sons Cameron and Keith. Survivors also include his brother Harold Kartje; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
