The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Wednesday, January 11, 2011 William C. Brunel from Wickenburg passed away Dec. 30 in Wickenburg. He was born March 17, 1914 in Tonopah, Nev., to Rene and Faye Brunel, joining brother Rene Brunel and sister Charlotte Brunel-Moskiman. Mr. Brunell was preceded in death by his wives Marie C. Craig, Myrtle Renton, and Elinor Robinette, and son Billy Brunel. He is survived by children Betty M. Brunel-Eddy (Tom Eddy) and James N. Brunel (Debby); grandchildren Charles Eddy, Audrey Eddy-Eldridge, Haily Brunel Seward, Kaycee Brunel, and six great-grandchildren all residing in Idaho. Mr. Brunel lived in several western states and worked with horses on cattle, dude, and guest ranches for several years. A memorial service will be held Monday (Jan. 17) at 2 p.m. at the Christian Fellowship Church/Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 970 N. Tegner Street in Wickenburg. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the owners and staff at My Father’s Retirement Ranch for the excellent care they provided to Bill.
