Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona July 13, 1989, page 2-A Private cremation was conducted of Emmett Allen Taggert, 78, of Wickenburg who died July 6 in the Wickenburg Nursing Home. Mr. Taggert had lived in Arizona for the past 18 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leslie Rae Taggert in 1988; and by his son, Bertrant Taggert. He was a retired Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy. He was a 22 year veteran, serving in World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of the Wickenburg Elks lodge No.2160. Survivors include a daughter, Ben (Joy) Hart of Taylor, Mich. And a grandson Benjamin F. hart of Doran, Va. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
