Memorial services were Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church for Capt. Paul E. Fisher, 65, of Wickenburg, who died Sept. 16 at his home in Wickenburg.
The Rev. W.W. Hutchison officiated, with private interment in the Wickenburg Cemetery.
Mr. Fisher, who was retired as a captain of a freighter with the Great Lakes division of U.S. Steel, was born Sept. 17, 1923 in Lakewood, Ohio. He had lived in Wickenburg for the past 19 years.
He was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Wickenburg.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou, of Wickenburg; three sons, Robert, of Rochester, N.Y., David, of Widefield, Colo., and Ray of Tempe; a daughter, Rebecca Gill of Phoenix; and two brothers, Raye M. Jr. of Rocky River, Ohio and Wilbur G., of Mesa.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Valley, 240 Osborn, Suite No. 200, Phoenix, 85013.
Arrangements were by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
