Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona September 28, 1989, page 2-A Memorial services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday at Shepherd of the Hills Church at 5524 E. Lafayette Blvd. in Phoenix for Stanley W. Blakeley, 75, of Phoenix, a retired superintendent of Mardian Construction Company, who died Sept. 23 in Wickenburg. Mr. Blakely came to Phoenix in 1923 from Nebraska, and began his working career as a master carpenter. As a construction superintendent, he supervised the construction of such projects as the Sky harbor air control tower and Camelback High School in Phoenix. Survivors include his wife, Ann; a son Rick, of Wickenburg; a daughter, Carolyn, of Phoenix; three sisters and nine grandchildren. Contributions may be made to Good Shepherd of the Hills Church or to the Oncology Department of St. Joseph’s Hospital, Phoenix.
