Elissa Rose Pinnell (Rogers) Jennings, 77, of Mesa, AZ, passed away on Jan 7, 2011. Born on Oct 15, 1933 in Kansas, Illinois, the daughter of Harrol & Eunice (Finney) Pinnell. 

Elissa moved to Wickenburg at the age of 11, graduated from Wickenburg High School in 1951, graduated from Arizona State Univ. in 1964, and then taught at Kyrene Elementary School Dist. for 20 years. 

She is the dear mother of Rena (partner Mary Lou) Rogers of Minneapolis, MN, Diana (Donald) Sutton of Colorado; William (Lani) Rogers of Mesa, AZ and Elaine (Ricardo) Jordan and (sic) Cedar Rapids, IA. Grandmother of 15 and great grandmother of 13. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Jennings, her parents; sister-Janice Pinnell Savage, brother, Raymond, granddaughter-Gabriella Rose Martin; and great granddaughter, Brittan Kennedy Sheridan. 

Visitation Fri. Jan. 14, 5-7pm, at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85257, where services will be held 9:30am Sat. Jan. 15th.
