Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona November 2, 1989, page 2-A Mass is scheduled at 11 a.m. today (Thursday) at the Good Shepherd of the Desert Catholic Church in Congress for John T. Urquides, 66, of Congress who died Oct. 27 in Wickenburg. Fr. H.J. O’Donnell will officiate, with burial to follow in the Congress Cemetery Mr. Urqides was born March 23, 1923 in Phoenix, and was a lifelong resident of Arizona. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Philippines. He was a former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his wife, Annice, of Congress; one stepson and one stepdaughter, six grandchildren; six brothers and two sisters. The Wickenburg Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
