Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona November 16, 1989, page 2-A Services were Sunday at the Wickenburg Funeral Home for Jessie Mabel Large, 78, of Wickenburg, who died Nov. 10 in Wickenburg. Stuart Pederson officiated, with burial to follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Wauneta, Neb. Mrs. Large was born Jan. 15, 1911 in Hayes Center, Neb. She had lived in Arizona for the past two and one-half years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Large, in 1981. She married Everett Large on June 1, 1930 in Nebraska, and the couple ranched in the state for 40 years. Mrs. Large was very active in 4-H, and was a member of the Methodist Church in Wauneta, Neb. Survivors include two sons, Richard, of Lincoln, Neb., and Marvin, of Imperial, Neb.; two daughter, Iris Fanning of Wauneta, and Peggy Christner of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two sisters, Dorothy Sloan of Salem, Ore., and Faye Osburnsen of Wickenburg; two brothers, Willard, of Portland, Ore, and Ray Rathbun of Indio, Calif.; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Arrangements were by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
