The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, January 12, 2011 Gwendolyn Jo (Riley) Draper Gwendolyn 'Gwen' Draper, 55, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., passed away surrounded by her family on Jan. 12, 2011, after a short illness. Born in Kokomo, Ind., on Jan. 22, 1955, Gwen and her family moved to Phoenix, Ariz., in 1959. Gwen graduated from Sunnyslope High School in 1973 and began a career as an office manager for State Farm agent James Roberts until she retired in 1991. She married Andrew Draper of Phoenix in 1989 and the couple moved to Prescott Valley in 1998. Gwen worked for the Town of Prescott Valley in the public library, passing on her love of reading and literature to area children. She was an avid sports fan, having passionately supported both the NBA's Phoenix Suns and the Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League. She is survived by her husband Andrew Draper; her parents, Helen and Webb Riley; her brother Rex (Jaci) Riley; brothers-in-law Chris (Sue) Draper, Russ (Kathy) Draper; and sisters-in-law Lori (Philip) Thomas and Tracey Draper. She was a beloved aunt to 15 nieces and three nephews and a great-aunt to a grand-niece and two grand-nephews. Viewing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15, at Sunrise Funeral Home, located at 8167 E. Highway 69 in Prescott Valley. Services immediately following. Information provided by survivors.
