CALDERON, Catalina G.

 Catalina G. Calderon, 83 of Aravaipa, passed away Jan. 17, 2002 at Cobre Valley Community Hospital in Claypool. She was born April 18, 1918 in Hayden.

She was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of the Copper Basin area.

Survivors include her sons, Frank (Gracie) Calderon of Mesa, Jose (Sally) Calderon of Show Low, and Paul (Belen) Calderon of Aravaipa; daughters, Ida Calderon of Casa Grande, and Yolanda Calderon of Tucson; sister, Alicia Fernandez of Casa Grande; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Francisco Calderon, and her son, Jesse Calderon.

Rosary was held Monday, Jan. 21, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Mammoth and the Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday, Jan. 22. Interment was at Mountain View Cemetery in Hayden.

Arrangements were made by Griffith Mortuary.
