The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ March 19, 2009 Stacy Brannan Heater died March 7, 2009, in Phoenix. She was born Aug. 2, 1957, Gadsden, Ala. Stacy lived most of her life in the Round Valley and Tucson areas. She loved working as a waitress and bartending. She found her true calling when she became a certified nursing assistant. She had such love and compassion for her patients, especially the elderly. She cared for them in their home so they could be comfortable at the end of their life. She had such a loving touch. It was devastating to her when she could no longer work in that field. She is survived by her husband, Jeff Heater; sons Thomas, Fulton (Barbara), Ricardo "JR" (Andria) and Ricky Herreras; daughters Sarah and Tessie; brothers Jerry, Jimmy, Weldon and Bobby Brannan; sisters Bonnie Hutchinson, Susie (Malcolm) Silva and Patty (Greg) Orona; and sister-in-law Sam (David) Campbell. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Johnnie Brannan, and sons David "Dobie" and Rudy Herreras. Services were held at the First Southern Baptist Church Wednesday, March 11. Angel's Crematorium handled arrangements.
