Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona January 16, 1990, page 2-A Services are scheduled today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at the Arizona Veteran Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix for Phillip A. Posante, 76, of Wickenburg who died Jan 13. A chaplain from the Veterans Administration will officiate. Mr. Posante was born July 17, 1913 in Louisville, Ky. He had lived in Arizona for the past six years. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a past chaplain of the VFW No. 8796 in Avon Lake, Ohio. He was a retired trucker from the teamsters Local N. 407 in Cleveland; and was a member of the International Order of Foresters. Survivors include his wife, Barbara , of Wickenburg; five sons, Phillip Posante, Jr. and Thomas A. Posante of Arizona and William R. Posante, Joseph Posante and David A. Posante of Ohio; two daughters, Janice Van'Order of California and Barbara Ann Lilley of Ohio, three brothers; 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
