Maria Amelia Forner, 74, died Feb. 4, 2009, in Show Low. She was born Jan. 21, 1935, in Detroit, Mich., to Albert Eugene Forner and Karoline Geiger.

She is survived by two brothers, Albert and Frank Forner, five nieces and three nephews.
 
Memorial services were held Saturday, Feb. 7, at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Show Low.
