The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ February 27, 2009 George A. Slone died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009. George was full of life until the end. His life was marked by his love of family, friends and above all God. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; and brother Richard; four sons and their wives Bob and Cathy, Rick and Julie, Kevin and Lesli and Mark and Vickie; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A celebration of George's life will be held Saturday, Feb. 28, at 1 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church, 241 E. McNeil, in Show Low. A reception will follow at the church.
