The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ January 9, 2009 Cheryl Ann "Heidt" Reed, 44, died surrounded by her loving family, Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, in Phoenix. Cheryl was born Nov. 11, 1964, in Arlington Heights, Ill., to Christian and Carol (Hodgson) Heidt. A loving mother and grandmother, Cheryl loved her family and dogs. She was a very spirited and fun loving person who wants to be remembered for the way she made people laugh. She was employed with Home Depot in Show Low. She is survived by her son, Chris Chunn of Mesa; daughter Nicole Mitchell of Show Low; granddaughter LeeAnn Mitchell; father and stepmother, Chris and Mary Heidt of Show Low; mother Carol Heidt of Peoria; brothers Kit (Kelly) Heidt of LaVeen and Steve (Wendy) Heidt of Chandler; sister Cindy (Gil) Heidt of Peoria; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, at Owens Livingston Mortuary-White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th St., with a viewing held one-hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Lakeside Cemetery. In her memory family ask donations to be for Cancer Research to the Mayo Clinic Department of Development, 13400 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale AZ 85259.
