PAKSTIS, Alphonse (Al) John

Alphonse "Al" John Pakstis, 90, of Apache Junction died surrounded by his family, Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, in Mesa. He was born Oct. 30, 1918, in Boston, Mass., to the late John and Chalina (Ramasis) Pakstis.

He is survived by two daughters, Patricia (Donald) Stephens of Bedford, Mass., and Cindy (Roy) Hatch of Taylor; two sons, John Pakstis and Alan "Sonny" (Eleanor) Pakstis of Massachusetts; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Anne (Rzasa) Pakstis; and brother Bronislaw "Peter" Pakstis.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Owens Livingston Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
