Lincoln H. "Linc" Kay, 92, of Show Low died surrounded by his loving family, Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009. Linc was born Feb. 12, 1916, in Mesa to the late Philemon and Annie (Hansen) Kay.
He was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be missed by all those who had the honor to know him.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda (Cal) Parsons of St. Johns; son Lincoln Kay of Show Low; grandchildren Dorie Ann Thomas of Tucson, Vicki Kay of Show Low, Kristi (Nick) DeCarlo of Arizona City; great-grandchildren Raymond and Sara Thomas, Christy and Cherie Hospodka and Kaylee and Alexis DeCarlo; brother Don "Bud" Kay of Show Low; sisters Phyliss Lewis of Lakeside and Eunice Burgman of Phoenix; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by wife, Iva Kay, in 1996; daughter Nancy Hospodka in 1997; daughter-in-law Ann Kay in 2008; as well as eight brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Lakeside Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a visitation one hour prior to the services and Friday, Jan. 9, from 7-9 p.m. at the Owens Livingston Mortuary, White Mountain Chapel.
Interment will be in the Lakeside Cemetery.
