CADY, Shirley Elizabeth

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ January 16, 2009 Shirley Elizabeth Cady, 82, died Jan. 9, 2009, in Snowflake. She was born Jan. 14, 1926, in Columbus, Ohio, to Orin B. Gustin and Elizabeth Louise Coon. Shirley was a caring wife, mother and grandmother who lived a life of service to others. Mom was the first free hospice nurse in the early years of Gilbert. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint. She is survived by three children, Mike Cady, Connie Spencer and Paul Cady; 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 1 p.m. at the Pinetop- Lakeside Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with visitation beginning at noon. Interment will follow at the Lakeside Cemetery. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
