The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ January 30, 2009 Hazel Bernice Mitchell, 87, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009, at Rim Country Health Center in Payson. Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her sons, Mike (Cora) Mitchell of Snowflake and Wendell Mitchell of Holbrook. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Glenn Mitchell, in 1977 and son Dale Mitchell in 2005. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m.. Friday, Jan. 30, at the First Baptist Church in Holbrook. Interment will be in the Holbrook Cemetery. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Holbrook handled the arrangements.
