Lake Havasu Mortuary and Crematory, Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Published on Thursday, January 13, 2011 - Patricia Ann Creason, 77, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2011 at Havasu Regional Medical Center. Pat was born on September 21, 1933 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Joe and Mable Ward. Pat and Jim, her husband of 52 years, moved to Lake Havasu City in 1969, coming from Kansas City, MO. Immediately, upon arrival in Lake Havasu City Pat began her lifes work as a true visionary. She was a very kind, caring, thoughtful person who was always willing to help others and who truly enjoyed giving of herself. She was a member of Community Presbyterian Church as well as an elder in the church. Pat was involved over the years in many different organizations and causes. Pat had many accomplishments in her life and to mention a few she was the Executive Director of the Inter Agency Council from 1989 -2003, past president of the Arizona Coalition against domestic violence, past President of the Chamber of Commerce, past President of the Havasu Crisis Line, former City Council woman, past president of the United Way and past president of Mohave Mental Health. Pat also had many affiliations with different organization and clubs ranging from the Republican party to the keep Havasu clean and beautiful program. She was also a member of Soroptimist International, Mohave County Foster care review board and was honored in 1992 as an "Outstanding Victim Advocate". Pat leaves behind many who will always love her and who will never forget her contributions and true selfless giving nature. Pat is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Pat Creason of Lake Havasu City, AZ.; daughter, Jami (Doug) Lawslo; son, Keven (Kelly) Creason; granddaughter, Dallas Lawslo; grandsons, James II and Matthew Creason; brother, Steve Horn. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 05, 2011 at 11:00 am at Community Presbyterian Church, 3450 Chemehuevi Blvd. with Dr. Dave Bybe officiating.
