GARCIA, Ysidro Cortez

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ December 17, 2010 Ysidro Cortez Garcia, 86, died Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, in Springerville. He was born May 15, 1924, in San Jose, Calif. to Eusebio Garcia and Louisa Cortez Garcia. He served his country in the United States Air Force during World War II and was a tree trimmer for the city of Phoenix. Ysidro is survived by his wife, Oralia Garcia of Reserve, N.M.; daughters Sandra G. (Paul) Bugayong of Reserve, N.M.; Gina M. (Peter) Sanchez of Luna, N.M.; six brothers, two sisters, nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Roseanna Garcia and three brothers and sisters. A funeral mass will be held Friday, Dec. 17, at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church of Reserve, N.M. Interment will follow the funeral mass at the Middle Frisco Cemetery of Reserve, N.M.
