NICKLAS, Paula Marie

Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Published Friday, January 14, 2011 - Paula Marie Nicklas passed away Jan. 11, 2011 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 66. She was born April 14, 1944, to Harold and Vivian (Maroni) McAnulty in West Moreland County, Pa. Paula married her best friend, John Nicklas, Oct. 27, 1961. She made Lake Havasu City her home 15 years ago from Riverside, Calif. Paula was a member of the Rotary Club at Havasu Regional Medical Center. Her hobbies included visiting the casinos, cooking with her granddaughters, volunteering, online farming, enjoyed going to the movies with her friends, and especially loved the time she spent with her family. Paula’s positive outlook on life gave encouragement too all that knew her. Paula leaves behind her beloved sons, Mark, Kevin and John Nicklas; brother, Jim McAnulty and his wife, Mina; and three grandchildren, Madison, Alyssa and A. Nicklas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Vivian McAnulty; and husband, John. A celebration of Paula’s life will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Chaplain Katherine Kenney will offer words of comfort and inspiration.
