Rory M. Finch, 31, died Aug. 27, 2010, in Phoenix. He was a resident of Eagar. Rory was born Dec. 5, 1978, in Show Low to Jim Finch Jr. and Wendy Estes Crowther.
He was a general contractor and owner of Cobble Creek Construction who built many log and conventional homes in the area. He was known as a very hardworker; his saying was "make it happen." He was an avid hunter and was always willing to help others. Rory was a wonderful husband and father to his girls; all our love "To the man in our life from the girls in yours".
Rory is survived by his wife Alexa Finch of Eagar; three daughters RaceaJade M., TyLee R. and KyrriJo M. Finch; parents Wendy (Leland) Crowther and Jim (Nancy) Finch Jr.; brothers Rock (Meagan) Crowther, JD (Briana) Finch, Jake (Sarah) Finch, Jayson (Erikka) Finch, and Jeremy (Janeth) Overman; sisters Danika (RJ) Carnright, Kelly (Gerard) Gutierrez and Lacey (Terell) Penrod; grandparents Jim Sr. and Glenda Finch and Rhoana Crowther; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Effie Estes.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 31, at the Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Eagar. Interment followed at the Alpine Cemetery.
