The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ July 29, 2010 Bruce Farrell "Sonny" Lilly, 74, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010, in Vernon. He was born April 26, 1936 in Eagar. Bruce drove a truck all of his life and loved to hunt deer and elk. He is survived, by his wife of 47 years Virginia Lee Lilly; four sons Troy (Amy), Alan (Roxanne), Jack (Mary), Casey (Mary); three daughters Vicky, Teri, and Robin; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; five sisters Lorraine (Merwyn) Fish, Lenora (Charles, deceased) Whiting, Linda (Robert) Douglas, Irene (John) Barney, Crystal (Dean) Martineau, brother Loren (Jill) Lilly and step-mother Venla Lilly. He was preceded in death by son Larry, as well as his parents, Oren Lilly and Violet (Slade) Johnson. A visitation will be from held 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 2, at Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street in Show Low. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, at the Lakeside Stake Center Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1520 Church Lane, Lakeside, with a visitation one hour prior to services. Interment will be at the Lakeside Cemetery. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Show Low handled arrangements.
