HOUSTON, Robert Guerry

The Daily Courier, Prescott, AZ Saturday, November 10, 2007 Robert Guerry Houston, age 71 died Nov. 5, 2007, in Prescott, Ariz. He was born Jan. 27, 1936, in Milwaukee, Wis. and was raised in Northern California by his mother, Ruby. Bob enjoyed a 20-year career in the United States Air Force and after retirement moved to Scottsdale, and then to Prescott where he lived for the past 15 years. Bob was an active volunteer with the VA and YRMC hospital, and was also active in the Prescott Sister Cities Association. Bob is survived by his wife Beverly; his son Scott; and daughter Melanie; daughters-in-law Trisch and Amy; grandchildren; Donny (Katie), John and Alex. He also is survived by his great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Natalie. Commemoration services in honor of Bob will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, at the American Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1085 Scott Drive in Prescott, Ariz., with military honors provided by the Luke Air Force Base honor detail. Inurnment will take place at the Prescott National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family of Bob suggests memorial contributions be made to Hope 4 Kids International, in care of AELC Church, 1085 Scott Drive, Prescott, AZ 86301.
