RITZHAUPT, Vaneita Gertrude

The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ May 06, 2005 Vaneita Gertrude Albaugh Ritzhaupt, 100, died April 22, 2005. She was born June 26, 1904 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was a resident of Glendale, Calif., for more than 60 years. She lived at Cottonwood Village for the last seven years. Nita was devoted to her family, and there was nothing she wouldn't have done to support them. Her husband of 50 years, Emil Arthur Ritzhaupt, preceded her in death in 1984. She was also preceded by her only son Emil Arthur Ritzhaupt Jr in 1986 and only grandson Gregory Scott Ritzhaupt in 1998. She is survived by granddaughter Jeri Lynn Ritzhaupt, of Cornville, who offers thanks to Nita for the generous support given throughout her life. There are no services planned.
