AALDERINK, Theodore W. (Ted)


The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ May 06, 2005 Theodore W. "Ted" Aalderink, 69, formerly of Arizona, died May 3, 2005 at Hospice House in Holland, Mich. Ted lived in Phoenix for nine years, Fountain Hills for 20 years and in Clarkdale for 13 years before moving to Holland in 2004. He was employed as an electronic technician at Honeywell and General Electric for 25 years. He also worked for Lockheed Martin for five years. Ted served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Garritt Schmit, in 1997. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Greta; daughters Roxann (Steve) Schmit, of Auburn, Wash., and Rhonda (Shane) Phillips, of Cole Camp, Mo.; stepmother Marie Van Dyke, of Holland, Mich.; sisters LaVerle (Morris Peerbolt), of Holland, Mich., and Janet (Gene) Boerman, of Holland, Mich.; stepsister Myra (Al) Van Beek, of Edgewater Beach, Fla.; stepbrothers Dale (Betty) Mulder, of Grand Ledge, Mich., Glenn (Carol) Mulder), of Lansing, Mich., and Lyle (Mary) Mulder, of Holland, Mich. Funeral services are May 6 at 1 p.m. at Notier-Ver Lee-Langeland Funeral Chapel in Holland, Mich. The Rev. Henry Vanden Heuvel will officiate. Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House of Holland or Relay for Life in the Holland, Mich., area.
