OLSON, Verna Cecelia

The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ May 21, 2005 Verna Cecelia Olson, 88, of Camp Verde, died May 16, 2005. She was born October 25, 1916, in South Dakota. A homemaker and a mother, she enjoyed sewing crocheting, needlepoint, gardening, traveling and was an avid reader. She leaves two sons, Elton A. Olson, of Phoenix, and Douglas W. Olson, of Camp Verde; daughters, Yvonne (and her husband John) Norks of Solon Springs, Wis., Carmen (and her husband Philip) Whitten Sr., of Camp Verde, Gloria Nelson, of Camp Verde, Vicki (and her husband Phil) LaBeau, of San Marcos, Calif., Sandy (and her husband Bob) Buescher, of Phoenix; 22 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. There are no public services planned. Westcott Funeral Home guided the family through these arrangements.
