KECK, Michael Ray


Published in The Yuma Sun on January 13, 2011 - Yuma, Arizona - Michael Ray Keck went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday January 10th, 2011. He was 54 years old, born on August 7th 1956 in Tucson Az. His family moved to Yuma when he was 4 years old. He went to Crane Elementary and Yuma High School, graduating in 1974. At 23 years old he started Keck Electric. Eventually that business grew into Demco (electric & plumbing contractor). In 1977 he married the love of his life Cindy Hurd. They had one child, Michael Tyler Keck. As a family they enjoyed, jet skiing, mountain biking, ATVing, camping, and going to Disneyland. Mike is survived by his wife, Cindy; son, Michael Tyler (Krystal) of Yuma; daughter, Shawna Renee Rodriguez (Ismael) of Yuma; mother, Willa Joy Porter of Phoenix; father, Raymond Lee Keck (Marilyn) of Tucson; brother, Brett Frazer of Phoenix and grandchildren, Whelan, Liam, Elijah & Baby, and his much loved extended family, Max and Ina Hurd, Sandy (Gene) Neely, Terri (Ernest) Yates, nieces and nephews, and many close friends. He will be greatly missed by all who love him and will be in our hearts forever!!! Funeral Services will be at the Victory Community Church, South Ave., 9-E, Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Terry Liston officiating. Cremation to follow at Sunset Vista Crematory.
