The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ September 09, 2005 Albert W. Butler, 78, of Cottonwood, died Sept. 2, 2005. He was born in Colorado Springs, Colo. Mr. Butler was retired from a career as a radio announcer for the radio station now known as KNIX in Phoenix. Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Butler of Fayetteville, Ark.; sons, Thomas Allen Butler and Leland Albert Butler; brothers, Arthur Butler of Phoenix, and Wallace butler of San Diego; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service is planned for Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. at 2270 W. Verde Drive in Camp Verde. For information, call 567-0022. Arrangements are being handled by Hepler Funeral Home of Camp Verde.
