HEARIN, Charles Wallace


The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ September 18, 2005 Charles Wallace Hearin, 80, died Sept. 4, 2005, in Prescott. He was born Feb. 13, 1925, in El Dorado, Ark., the son of Charles Lee Hearin and Elizabeth Murphy Hearin. He had been in the Verde Valley since 1974, the last 20 years in Cornville. He was a retired painting contractor and, in his spare time, loved to garden and fish. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Agnes M. Hearin, on Nov. 5, 2001 and by his parents. Mr. Hearin is survived by his two daughters, Charlene Hearin-Lopez, of Cornville, and Diane Scott, of Cameron, Mont.; a son, Arthur DuBord, of Altadena, Calif.; a sister, Audrey Ambrose, of El Dorado, Ark.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Graveside services will be Oct. 9 at 11 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in El Dorado, Ark., conducted by Young's Funeral Directors, 508 Champagnolle Road.
