Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Wednesday, January 19, 2011 Michael Celestino Lopez, 62, of Winslow, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011, in Flagstaff. Mr. Lopez was born Sept. 29, 1948, in Winslow. He graduated from Winslow High School and attended Northern Arizona University. He moved back to Winslow six years ago. He retired 12 years ago from a career in construction. He had other jobs in between, including working for Santa Fe Railroad and for an independent contractor. He loved to shop and play football with his son. Mr. Lopez is survived by his wife, Carole Lopez; son Edmund Lopez; daughter Leah Willingham; mother Aggie Lopez; sisters Betty Echenique and Darlene Jaramillo; brother Florentino Lopez; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Selestino Lopez. Holy Rosary was recited Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with celebrant Father Frank Chacon. Condolences can be sent to www.greers mortuary.com.
