Greer's Mortuary of Winslow, Winslow, Arizona Wilma 'Billie' Pogue January 12, 2011 Services for Wilma Pogue will be Monday, January 17th 10:00 a.m. at New Life Center, Main Street Joseph City with Interment immediately following at the Joseph City Cemetery. Wilma (Billie) Pogue (May 7, 1913 - January 12, 2011) Billie was born on May 7, 1913 in Springfield Missouri. She was raised in Missouri and that is where she met and married Luther Pogue. Her and Luther moved to Arizona in 1932 where they decided to make their home. After moving for several years they moved to Joseph City in 1943 where they decided to settle and raise their three children Patricia Ann, Douglas Mathew and Ray Vincent. Billie and good friend Irene ran the Joseph City Grocery for many years before retiring in 1976. She was very active in Liberty Chapter 23 Order of The Eastern Star attaining the honor of Worthy Matron in her younger years. Billie is survived by her children Pat Roberson, Ray and Irma Pogue, daughter-in-law Pat Pogue, 9 grandchildren 20 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, sister, her husband Luther, son Doug, son-in-law Crawford Roberson and grandson in-law Bobby Hill. Condolences can be sent to www.greersmortuary.com
