Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Published Tuesday, January 18, 2011 - Chanda Lynn Martin passed away Jan. 12, 2011 after a battle with cancer at St. Mary’s Hospital in Victor Valley, Calif. Her family was at her side. Born Aug. 26, 1961, in Los Angeles, Calif, resided in Baldwin Park, Calif., and went to Cal Poly College to get a teaching certificate. She married Robert B. Martin July 9, 1983, in Covina, Calif. She and Bob had three sons, which were her great pride and joy. Hesperia Calif., was their home. She is survived by her husband, Robert Martin; sons: Sean Robert (Billie Mae), Eric Adam and Cody Jonathan; her parents, Charles and Wanda Richardson, of Lake Havasu City; mother-in-law, Lori Williams, of Meadview, Ariz.; brothers, Charles Allen (Teri) Richardson, of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., Jeffrey Ray Richardson, of Fontana, Calif.; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Chandra was expecting her first grandchild in May. Cremation was her choice; there will be a memorial service at Sunset Hills Memorial Park 24000 Waalew Road, Apple Valley, CA 92307 on Jan. 29, at 2 p.m. Thanks to everyone for their prayers and support.
