Lake Havasu Mortuary & Crematory, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 - David Glenn Baley, 71, passed away peacefully in Lake Havasu City, AZ. with his wife by his side on Sunday, January 16, 2011. He was born on November 28, 1939 in Milwaukee, WI to Marian and Glenn Baley. Dave grew up in Cazenovia, WI where he worked on the family farm until he moved to Tucson, AZ. in 1957. He met his wife, Judy there and they married in 1960. He moved his family back to Wisconsin in 1962. Dave was a hard worker and eventually became the owner of King Manufacturing in 1972 where he remained until his retirement in 1995. Dave's philosophy was to treat his employees like family. You did not "work" for Dave Baley, you worked "with" him. After retirement Dave and Judy spent their winters in Lake Havasu City, AZ. and their summers in Reedsburg, WI. Dave suffered the loss of his wife Judy in 2002 after 41 years of marriage. In 2007, Dave met his present wife Maggie Brown in Lake Havasu City. Besides running the business, he ran a farm, served on a Hospital Board in Waupun, was a member of the Reedsburg Country Club, ELKS Club, Eagles Aerie, the Sidewinders 4-wheel club and the Havasu Gold Seekers Club. Dave enjoyed reading, golfing, jeeping, gold panning, working on his brother Steve's farm in Cazenovia and just driving along the country side taking in the beautiful scenery. Dave is survived by his wife, Maggie; sons, Brian (Sue) and Warren (Amber); sisters, JoAnn (Wally) Daggett, Janette (John) Bernard and Mary (Bob) Goldman brothers, Richard, Steve and Mike (Joanne) Baley; grandchildren, Courtney (James) Monette, Aaron, Cameron, Reagan, Quinn and Meika; 2 great grandchildren, Julian and Baley; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Judy. Remembrances will beheld at a later date for family and close friends.
