Owens Livingston Mortuary Show Low, Arizona Bruce Kyle Cromwell, of Whiteriver, passed away January 14, 2011 at the Whiteriver Indian Hospital. He was 28. Bruce was born January 7, 1983 in Whiteriver, Arizona. He was raised and attended school in Whiteriver. He excelled in math and was a chess champion in school. He worked as a firefighter for Whiteriver Fire Department and as an EMT for Whiteriver EMS. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood making and being with his family. He loved to joke around with his friends and family. He also enjoyed listening to Elders telling him about the "older days" and especially their sense of humor. Bruce always wanted to know of his family and his many relatives. He is survived by his mother, Delta (JR) Nashio; his father, Kinney Cromwell; his daughters, Emily and Alyssa Cromwell, Amber Vigil-Nachu; brothers, BoBoy and Rasta Nashio; sisters, JT, Crystal, Sherol and Kaywahn Nashio;companion, Dennie Parker; grandparents, Delbert & Norma Zahgotah, Neva Nashio & Lida Cosay. A two night wake will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, January 20, 2011 the Nashio's residence, House #22 Knotts Landing. Funeral services will held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 22, 2011 at the Whiteriver Lutheran Church with Pastor Joel Sutton officiating. Interment will follow at the Whiteriver Cemetery.
