Narro was born Jun. 6, 1931, in Traverse City, Mich., to parents Myrtle and Robert Thompkins. She graduated from Traverse City High School in 1949. Phyllis married William (Bob) Narro Aug. 5, 1950, in Detroit, Mich. While in Michigan, Phyllis belonged to the Eastern Star Ladies Auxiliary, was a Girl Scout leader and a member of the Good Fellows Association. Phyllis and Bill moved to Havasu June 30, 1976, from Detroit. Phyllis loved to be with family and friends. She liked to spoil her family and was interested in sewing, cooking and loved to shop. Phyllis went to be with her Lord and Savior with her daughter, Jennie, and husband, Bill, at her side. She is survived by her husband, Bill; children, Susie (Gary) Engle, Kenny (Lisa) Narro, Jennie (Scott) Nocks, William Narro and Christina (Narro) Kolasky; grandchildren include, Becky Huerer, David Narro, Willy Narro-Nocks, Nancy Narro, Sharon Kolasky and Joseph Kolasky; and great-grandchild, Georgia Huerer Services are scheduled for Saturday, at 10 a.m. at God’s Grace Church.
