Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Thursday, January 20, 2011 Shane Rickman, 49, of Flagstaff, died unexpectedly Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, in Flagstaff. Mr. Rickman, a resident of Flagstaff for more than 20 years, was a generous man who looked for and saw the good in everyone. He never met a stranger, and he has been known to give the shirt off his back to strangers. His interests included Aikido, snorkeling, traveling, the great outdoors and painting. Some of his paintings are on display in the city at The Green Room and Sacred Rites. Mr. Rickman is survived by his sisters, Karen, Teresa, Wilma and Charlie; and by a large community of friends, extended family and cherished dogs. There will be a Celebration of Life for Mr. Rickman tonight at 7:30 p.m. at The Green Room, 15 N. Agassiz St. For more information, call (928) 779-0563.
