ROMERO, Richard (Ricky) Anthony

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, January 19, 2011 It is with great sadness that the family of Richard "Ricky" Anthony Romero announces his passing, on Jan. 15, 2011, at the age of 25 years. Ricky began life on Jan. 3, 1986, in Sierra Vista, Ariz., born to Marcella and Ruben Romero. Ricky graduated from Buena High School in 2004. He continued his education at Yavapai Community College in Prescott, Ariz. He worked in the banking industry for Wells Fargo, Wamu, and Chase. Ricky enjoyed movies, music and spending time with close friends and family. Ricky will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Marcella Romero of Buckeye; his father Ruben Romero and stepmother Linda Romero of Sierra Vista; his brothers, Ruben and Tony; his sisters, Michelle, Melissa and Renee; his grandparents, Alex and Mary Castro; his Uncle Angel and Aunt Alvina Castro, and Aunt Linda Castro. Ricky will also be forever remembered by several great aunts and uncles, cousins and nieces. A viewing and rosary will be 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel in Goodyear, Ariz. A celebration of Ricky's life will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, also at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ 85338.
