The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, January 19, 2011 Emma Colgan returned to her Father in Heaven on Jan. 16, 2011, in Prescott, Ariz. She was born July 10, 1917, in Tyndall, S.D. Emma was married to Dale Colgan on Aug. 27, 1948, in Yankton, S.D. They were married for 60 years. Emma is the loving mother of five daughters, Dorothy, Marcene, Joyce, Susanne and Nancy, and a grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Emma was a resident of South Dakota, California and Arizona. She enjoyed being with family, traveling, swimming, crafts, playing cards and attending church. A viewing will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, at Sunrise Funeral Home in Prescott Valley with the funeral at 10 a.m. Sunrise Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
