BOLIN, Gordon Howard


Queen Creek - Services for Gordon Howard Bolin, 50, a pilot and cropduster 13 years, will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow in Gibbons Mortuary, 33 N. Sirrine, Mesa. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Mesa. Mr. Bolin was killed Sunday (Dec. 13, 1970) when a small plane he was piloting crashed at Queen Creek and Crimson Roads. Born in Bloomington, Illinois, he came here 15 years ago from Hermosa Beach, Calif. He was a member of Elks Lodge 2429 of Chandler and First United Methodist Church of Mesa and was an Air Force veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Alene; five daughters, Bonnie Bolin, Mrs. Judy Stark and Mrs. Lori Samora, all of Mesa; Mrs. Nancy Johnson of Apache Junction; Shannon Bolin of Queen Creek; two sons, Robert Bolin and Gordon James, both of Queen Creek; a brother and a sister out of state, and six grandchildren.
