The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ Thursday, January 20, 2011 David V. Mocasque (1950 - 2011) David V. Mocasque, 60 of Camp Verde, passed away on January 16, 2011. He was born on May 11, 1950 in Phoenix to Richard and Rosebelle Mocasque. David was a chemical miner for 27 years and custodian for Yavapai Apache Nation for close to 5 years. He liked playing football and baseball in his high school days and enjoyed watching sports. We the family are very heartbroken of our loss but we’re surviving with the Lord’s help. We will miss him very much. David is survived by brothers Richard Mocasque Jr. (Iris) of Middle Verde and Milford Tony Stevens and sisters Ruby Mocasque of Salt River Reservation, Mary Beauty of Camp Verde and Kathleen J. S. Andrews of Camp Verde. Services will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Westcott Funeral Home in Camp Verde.
