The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ January 21, 2011 Jo Ann Schlund, 70, of Pinetop died peacefully Jan. 18, 2011. She was born July 21, 1940, in Deadwood, SD to Carl and Ruth (Morris) Overby. Jo Ann was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Barry Schlund; sons: Bill (Susan) Gabriel and Paul (Tara) Gabriel; step-daughter Wendy (Pete) Fynboh; grandchildren: Danielle, Brendan, Ashley, Josephine, and Hutton; step grandchildren: Carlin, Keara, Troy, Taylor, Hannah and Tyler; and brother Mike (Linda) Overby. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd, Peoria. Heritage Funeral Chapel and Sunwest Funeral Home handled arrangements.
